Industrial security gates are intended to cover access points of different types and sizes. They are made from a sturdy, impenetrable lattice work of 14-guage channel steel. An industrial security gate cannot be pushed through or broken down. At the same time, it allows clear visibility either into or out of a building, and it provides ventilation for rooms and buildings that may need to release fumes or excess heat into the outside air.

Industrial security gates come in four model styles: single gates, double gates, door gates, and portable gates. Single and Double gates mount on hinge pins that allow you to pivot the gate out of the way so human and/or vehicle traffic can pass safely through the doorway. Drop pins inserted in the center of larger gates prevent the gate from being pulled down from the top or pushed through from the center. This design makes each unit impenetrable and extremely durable. Protection from the elements and added durability also comes from a thick coat of black enamel paint applied to every unit at the time of manufacture.

Specific features and benefits of each style model follow:

Industrial Security Door Gates

These gates are built for normal sized entry doors that you normally find in any type of building, including offices and modular buildings. They can be left open for both ventilation and light. Easy Rack has sizes that will fit all standard size doors, and we will custom order special size gates to fit uncommon door sizes. Industrial door gates feature a versatile engineering feature that allows them to be mounted to lock on either the left or the right. Security door gates can be mounted either in the recess of the door frame or on the outside wall adjacent to the doorway. This allows the unit to be folded up and swung to the side much like a door pivots and moved out of the way when it is not being used.

Single Industrial security gates

These gates are made from a single lattice of steel to cover the entrance to any number of commercial doorways and building access points. Single gates ship standard to lock on the left side, but they can easily be custom built to lock on the right side. The center drop pin reinforces the unit and gives the unit extra strength and stability.

Double Industrial Security Gates

Based upon the same design as single gates, double gates are simply two steel lattices that connect together in the center. This allows either side or both sides to be swung 180 degrees to the side and clear the doorway when they are not in use. These are ideal industrial security gates to use in front of entrances that have heavy vehicle traffic, such as fork trucks, pallet trucks, pickups, and vans.

Portable Industrial Security Gates

These gates are used heavily for construction environments as outdoor barricades and barricades over doorways that have been cut out of the wall but not yet when doorways that have been cut but not completed. They provide mobile security, and when they are folded up they are only 6.5’ high, which m makes them small enough to fit through a standard door opening and compact enough to be stored out of site. Portable security gates are easy to install and lock to the wall with a sample padlock hasp arrangement that Easy Rack includes with your shipment.

Has your late summer garden seen better days? If your outdoor paradise is getting a little ragged, and you would like some easy and cheap gardening tips to get it back into shape in time for fall, keep reading!

Most gardens, no matter how well they are designed will have periods without a lot of bloom. But a late summer garden is more than just lack of bloom; it’s overgrown plants, ratty leaves, spindly annuals and brown spots in the lawn. Here’s how to fix these garden problems.

Cut back your blooming perennials by half. This will stimulate new growth, and create need for another flush of flowers in the fall for many varieties. It will also clean up the overgrown look of your flower beds.

If you still have brown foliage from spring bulbs showing, it is safe to cut them to the ground now. They have already stored all the energy they need for spring bloom, and the dead plant matter isn’t doing anything for the look of your garden.

If you have a pest problem, you should be addressing it. You can use commercially available Sevin dust for many of the most common predators, or seek out an organic alternative. One good way to identify what is eating your plants is place a piece of white paper under the leaves of the plant being attached and give the plant a good tap or shake. Whatever pest is the culprit should fall onto the paper for easy identification. If you’re stumped, pop it in a jar and take it to your local nursery for identification and advice on how to eradicate it while doing the least damage to beneficial bugs. Remember, we need those bees! Don’t’ poison them.

If you have annuals planted in containers or beds that have seen better days, cut them back hard. Apply a good dose of water soluble fertilizer and they will bounce back and start re-blooming for you. Petunias, alyssum and geraniums all need a good rejuvenation this time of year, but will bloom well into fall if you try this trick.

If your lawn has developed some dry spots, try raking in an organic compost or fine bark to protect the soil and hold in moisture. Water frequently during the day for a week or two until you start to see new green growth. Cut back on the watering gradually, but be consistent until the lawn is once again green in the spot.

A late summer garden may seem to have gone to sleep, but its pretty easy to throw a big basket of water on it and wake it back up. (Both literally, and figuratively!) Use these easy and cheap gardening tips to renew your garden, and have a beautiful spot to spend those quiet autumn afternoons.

The “classic” design of folding metal security gate has stood the test of time for many decades as the most durable and dependable form of gate design. Our folding metal gates are made of 3/4″ wide 14 gauge steel channel that is riveted back to back with solid steel rivets. Solid rivets provide the necessary strength to endure stress and last longer under adverse conditions. Gate rails are made from 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ x 1/8″ thick hot rolled angle iron that resists abuse and last longer than thinner alternatives. Our drop pins are made of 5/8″ round rod and all casters are steel. We thoroughly coat each metal security gate with black enamel paint.

Metal security gates block access points and create restricted areas for security and safety reasons. Made from a sturdy, impenetrable lattice of 14-guage channel steel, a metal security gate cannot be pushed through or broken down. Because the lattice consists of mostly empty space, however, it provides clear visibility for surveillance, and it helps ventilate fumes, metal by products, and excess heat from plants and warehouses.

There are four basic types of metal security gates: single gates, double gates, door gates, and portable gates. Single and Double gates mount on hinge pins that allow workers to pivot the gate to the side when the doorway must be opened to traffic. The center of the gate is strengthened by a drop pin that prevents it from caving in when pushed either from the center or the top. This design makes the unit both durable and vandal resistant. Protection from the elements and added durability also comes from a thick coat of black enamel paint applied to every gate at the time of manufacture.

Specific features and benefits of each model follow:

Metal Security Door Gates

These gates are designed to limit access to normal sized doors in commercial and industrial buildings. Sizes are available that will fit all doors and will manufacture custom-sized gates on request. Metal door gates offer companies a versatile design that allows them to be mounted to lock on either the left or the right. Metal security door gates will mount on either the door frame recess or the outer wall surrounding the door frame. Either position will allow the gate to be folded and swung to the side when it is not in use.

Single Metal security gates

These gates are made from a single steel lattice and cover the entrance to any number of commercial building access points. Standard locking position is on the left side, but custom ordered right side locking gates can be requested through your Easy Rack representative. To prevent the gate from losing its center, single metal security gates feature a drop pin in the center which provides added stability in wider openings.

Double Metal Security Gates

Just as the name suggests, double gates are simply two steel lattices connecting together in the center. This allows both sides to be swung completely 180 degrees to one side if necessary. These are ideal metal security gates to use in front of entrances that have heavy vehicle traffic, such as fork trucks, pallet trucks, pickups, and vans.

Portable Metal Security Gates

These gates are ideal for construction sites. They provide movable security, and when they are folded up they are only 6.5’ high…small enough to fit through a standard door opening, and compact enough to be stored out of site. Portable security gates are easy to install and lock to the wall with a sample padlock hasp arrangement that comes included in your order.

One of the biggest concerns most women have has to do with maintaining those beautiful lips once lipstick or lip gloss has been applied. Most of us have very busy schedules, and having to reapply lip color can be a real inconvenience. The below options and tips can help you maintain those lips with a busy lifestyle, or for special events like a wedding or special date.

1. Lip Stains are available in a variety of colors, although not as common as the everyday lipstick colors. They usually come packaged in a plastic squeezable tube, so it’s easy to control the amount you want to distribute. I recommend applying with a lip brush for more precision. The purpose of lip stains can be two-fold because they are also widely used as blush colors for the cheeks. If you’re interested in using them as blush colors, just squeeze a small amount onto the back of your hand and apply using a foundation (or a large concealer) brush. Please note that the product dries quickly, so when you apply the color onto your cheeks blend as soon as possible.

2. Long-wearing lip colors are rising in popularity, so a wider range of colors are becoming available. They provide medium to full coverage, so there’s no need to feel as though you have to reapply to achieve a fresh look. Use a lip brush to apply the color and make sure you distribute evenly. Allow it to dry by waiting a couple of minutes. Because it tends to be somewhat drying to the lips, most long-wearing lip colors come with lip gloss so you can apply a thin layer after the color has dried completely. The ones I’ve tried were a complete success, but it’s important to know that the product cannot be easily removed with soap and water. It’s a good idea to have makeup remover on hand when you want to remove it.

3. Matte Lipstick come in various colors within every cosmetic line. They are available in medium to full coverage as well, and contain no luster to the finish. I highly recommend it if you have a busy lifestyle, and don’t want to think about reapplying your lip color throughout the day. Matte lipsticks are easy to apply and remove, and there’s no need to use a lip brush during the application process, although I am partial to the precise application of lip brushes for ultimate beautiful lips.

Makeup tips for lips:

* Once you have applied your lip liner and lip color, use a wedge sponge to apply sheer powder around the border of the mouth. This “barrier” of sheer powder will prevent your lip color from bleeding during the day.

* A personal favorite of mine is to find a lip liner that is the same color that I want to wear on my lips. I “fill in” my lips with the liner first, and apply a luster lipstick or lip gloss on top for added color or modification. It works like a charm for beautiful lips, and the color lasts all day!

* Apply a thin layer of lipstick, then dust on a very small amount of sheer powder onto the lips. Apply a second coat of lipstick after that for true staying power!

Today’s sedentary lifestyle leads to weight gain. No one can argue with that. Everyone differs, however, on how to shed the weight.

The conversion of energy from stored fat is one of the main functions of the liver. Therefore, it is important that your liver is always at peak performance. Another function of the liver is to help the kidneys do their job if they’re dehydrated. The solution to keeping your liver converting fat to energy is to drink more water! The consumption of water is vital in order to maintain a healthy body. To summarize, cut down on the dehydrating beverages and fill up with more water.

Just existing burns calories. Energy is required every hour of the day, regardless of what we do. Who doesn’t know that? What is not as commonly known is that the amount of muscle on your body determines your resting metabolic rate. Even a small increase in your muscle mass will increase your resting metabolic rate, with the result being more calories expended throughout the day.

To benefit from increasing your metabolism, you don’t need to lift weights two or three hours a day. You probably don’t have that kind of time to invest – nor do I.

If you’re overweight and would like to add to your muscle mass, start slowly, and do simple things like squats or push-ups. Every day do five of each exercise. Those can both be done from the home and it won’t cost you a dime. If you want more workout than just push-ups and squats, do you need to buy a set of weights? No matter how silly it sounds, you can always use a pair of rocks weighing three or four pounds each.

Increase your muscle mass as fast as possible by making your body constantly rebuild and repair muscle. Every part of your body needs exercising: chest, shouldres, back, biceps, triceps, quads, forearms, and glutes, calves and hamstrings, and abdominals. To accomplish this, do you need to kill yourself every day at the gym? Not if you’re creative. Just remember, push-ups and squats. Those two exercises will work every muscle in your body (it’s even better if time allows you to concentrate on individual muscles).

However, don’t overlook the last but very important factor of losing or gaining weight: your diet. If three times a day you consume a double cheeseburger and a large fries, and drink a soda that’s not calorie-free, it’s going to be hard for you to lose weight no matter what you do.

While there is no limit to the number of diets claiming to be the best (all fruit, no meat, low carbs, low fat, etc.), different types of food create different reactions in people. On the most fundamental level, everyone’s body metabolizes food differently. What rejuvenates one person is just as likely to make someone else lethargic.

Which diet produces the best results for your body? To start, analyze how many calories you eat every day. Make sure it is the proper amount for your current body weight. Second, pay attention to how you feel emotionally and physically thirty minutes after you’ve eaten. Do you feel sluggish and want to nap? Or are you re-energized? Feeling like you could run a marathon? Most likely you’ve already concluded the answer because your body will tell you exactly how it feels after consuming a meal.

Light exercising, adequate water consumption, and a diet that makes you alive and full of energy are the fundamentals of losing weight. Be sure you include all three of the above factors, your lifestyle will be healthier and you’ll lose weight without even trying!

Renegade Water Secrets with Jonny Bowden, is a board certified nutritionist, personal trainer, motivational speaker, and author of: Living the Low-Carb Life: Choosing the Diet that’s Right for You, The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth: The Surprisingly Unbiased Truth about What You Should Eat and Why and his most recent book is The Most Effective Natural Cures on Earth: The Surprising Unbiased Truth about What Treatments Work and Why.

Kevin: Thank you. Well, for those of you who have never heard of Jonny Bowden, why don’t you just give us a quick little summary and then we’ll get right into the meat of this call and the questions.

Jonny: Well, I’m a board certified nutritionist. I have a Masters degree in psychology. I was a personal trainer for 10 years and I have six certifications in personal training and I try to combine motivational speaking with clinical nutrition and fitness and health for just transformation of the world and the planet and people’s health and personal power.

Kevin: Wow. So let’s get right into it. I sense a theme of the questions that we got and I got a chance to take a look at them, kind of revolve around to very specific things. One is emotional eating and the other is a sugar cravings and I have a feeling that they’re a little bit connected, but I’m going to let you talk about that. So let’s talk first about emotional eating. How can someone overcome emotional type grabbing for food no matter what it is?

Jonny: Well, it’s certainly something that we can spend an entire hour on, but let me just give you a tiny piece of the way I approach it. I did a program a while ago, which has been doing really well on my website called the Diet Boot Camp Program. It’s four CDs and a manual and it’s the text that we use in our private coaching program. It’s kind of a textbook, but this is an at-home version that you can do without the coaching program and everyone talks about using a food journal to keep a record of what you eat, so that you can kind of monitor food reactions and calories and be accountable to yourself. In the Diet Boot Camp Program, I particularly added to that food journal questions about what you just asked. What am I feeling when I’m eating this? Am I really hungry or is something else going on? How do I connect the dots between the triggers for eating and my eating behavior? Because I think the answer to your question is really about how we connect the dots? How do we identify what triggers happen often subconsciously, and often without us even noticing them. They happen so quickly.

What cues do we respond to that trigger eating behaviors, because until we can make that connection we can’t to break the link. So what we’re looking for is a circuit breaker. We’re looking for a way — if you know those Christmas lights that you have that you put on a Christmas tree. When they’re all kind of chained together and there’s one little circuit that’s broken in there then all the rest of the lights beyond that don’t light up. That’s what we need to do with some of our more addictive behaviors, whether it be food behaviors or drug behaviors, whatever we’re addicted to and here were talking about sugar and cravings and emotional eating.

So what we tend to and I was a cigarette smoker, for example. Certain subjects would come up. Certain anxiety producing subjects would come up in conversation. You automatically reach for the pack. So what I talk about on Diet Book Camp is making a chink in the link. You’re looking at that link of behaviors that starts with an emotion of feeling of fear or anger. In the 12 step program they talk about don’t get too angry or too tired or too thirsty or too hungry or too lonely. There are these triggers and what we’re looking for is what is the link of behaviors that ends with us eating something that doesn’t support our health and how to we break that link. How do we put a little circuit breaker in that link of lights and I think that’s the key to getting mastery over emotional eating.

Kevin: When someone is craving something is it too late? Does this groundwork have to laid before?

Jonny: That is a great question and let me give you the short answer. Obviously, if you can nip it before it happens, it’s the same thing with cigarettes and everything else. If you can stop cravings before they overcome you and there are things you can do. There are things you can do to modulate, for example, blood sugar, because dropping blood sugar is a big cue for cravings. There are things you can do to not get too angry or too hungry and there are things you can do to start molecules going up to your brain, saying this dude’s not that hungry. We can manage. So there’s a lot of things that you can do in advance of cravings. Once you understand what the triggers are, there are things you can do.

My ex-girlfriend was a big smoker and she knew that there were certain routes in the car, driving home from rehearsal, certain times that were triggers for her, so she learned to not do this particular things and to find alternative a ways to go home, to find different times to go, different people to travel with, so there are ways that you can kind of anticipate before the craving happens. You can do it be it with modulating blood sugar or taking some of the supplements that I talk about in The Most Effective Natural Cures on Earth, like glutamine and things like that, but once a craving hits there are still things you can do to interrupt the circuit. It’s a little harder than not having a craving in the first place, but sometimes cravings just hit us. So what we have to do is find some alternative behaviors or just find a way to get, as I said, a chink in the link, maybe put one behavior in between the craving and the action.

A lot of us feel a craving and immediately gratify it and sometimes if you can just train your brain to put a five minutes in between, like maybe make a deal with yourself and you say okay, I’m going to delete this food or have the cigarette or whatever it is that you’d like to not be able to do. I’m going to be able to do it and make a deal with myself, but I’m going to wait five minutes. I’m going to just walk around the block first. It’s kind of like when you’re really angry and you take 10 deep breaths. You just make that deal with yourself to put that little bit of distance and when you know some of the tricks of what you can do in that little bit of distance you’d be amazed. The cravings pass within 15 minutes. It’s been documented. There’s no question about it. If you can outlast it, you can beat it.

So there are things that you can do and it isn’t always too late once the craving starts, but obviously the best solution is to try to anticipate what might trigger those cravings in the first place and maybe head them off at the pass before you are victimized by them.

Kevin: Right, because it’s challenging when you have a piece of cake or there’s a whole variety of people in this call. People who are into raw foods to people who just want to lose weight. It’s a challenge when you have that thing in your hand and it’s in your reach. Is it a different kind of trigger for each person, like a different kind of stop technique? Why don’t you give us an example of what you use for smoking? What was your stop technique?

Jonny: I wrapped the cigarettes and paper and put a rubber band around the pack. I would have to unwrap the cigarettes. I would have to write down on the paper the time of day. I’d rank it from one to 10 and I would have to wait five minutes and actually go out of the room and do it someplace else.

Kevin: Wow.

Jonny: After a while, if you put enough of these little stop gap measures, five minutes, 10 minutes, you have to wrap it up, you have to write it down and have to go out of the room. If you make it inconvenient enough, as you begin to break the habit it becomes easier and easier. For some people I’m going to have dessert, I’ll have a warm bath first. I’ll read 10 pages of the Wall Street Journal or of my favorite novel. I’ll wait and watch 15 minutes of the news and then I’ll have it. You can make them up. They can be different for different people. I’ll walk around the block. I’ll do 10 push-ups. You’d be amazed at the number of things you can put in there to just jam up the works. What you’re trying to do is deconstruct that automaticness, that knee-jerk reaction and once you can do that, once you can get a wedge in it’s like a wedge issue. Once you get a wedge in, it’s sort of like undoing a knot on your shoe lace when it’s really tight. Once you can loosen it a little bit, the rest of it sort of unravels a lot more easily.

Kevin: What a great 10 minute explanation on food cravings and sugar and everything. I think that kind of covers it. That is some incredible advice.

This interview is an excerpt from Kevin Gianni’s Renegade Roundtable, which can be found at http://www.RenegadeRoundtable.com. In this excerpt, Jonny Bowden shares on nutritional supplements.

Kevin: There are so many supplements today to choose from. The costs can be high and I don’t know if they work. If you’re on a budget, what are the bare-bones supplements that you think that people should really be concerned about or should be using?

Jonny: If I had to pick one, if you put a gun to my head and I had to pick one supplement that would have the broadest-based shotgun approach to health that does the most things for the most people and that most people are lacking in it would have to be fish oil. Even a multiple vitamin, a lot of people on this call are eating really great. They’re eating a lot of raw foods. They’re getting enzymes and they’re eating yogurt or other naturally fermented foods and they’re getting some probiotics. Let’s assume they’re getting a ton of vitamins from their vegetables and fruits, although most people are lacking in some of them, but if you could only take one the omega threes just have the widest range of health benefits and are most needed by most people. So that would be my number one with a bullet.

There are others down the list. Certainly, multivitamins, magnesium. 75% of magnesium is getting a less than optimal level of magnesium. Probiotics are a good one. Digestive enzymes. There are a lot of different things and then of course, you get into the different health conditions and the different things and different challenges that different people have. If there are some heart issues or anything to do with — if anybody’s on a staten medication to lower cholesterol and that’s a whole other discussion, but if you are on one of there’s not even a doubt, you should be on co- enzyme Q10 supplementation. Absolutely 100% and if your doctor tells you otherwise change doctors. Staten drugs seriously deplete co-enzyme Q10. It’s a vital nutrient for the heart. If you’re on a Staten medication co-enzyme Q10 is at the top of the list.

For energy depletion there’s all sorts of different things. If people have blood sugar issues and I talk about all of this in The Most Effective Natural Cures on Earth. Different natural prescriptions for supporting your health with different kinds of conditions and not necessarily curing a condition, but supporting your health and maybe being able to reduce medication or maybe being able to put something into remission or reduce the number of outbreaks of asthma attacks or acne or any of these different things. That can be helped by different dietary supplement strategies, but again, go back to what is the one thing that people on a budget, one thing that they can take. That said, I would

have to say fish oil.

Kevin: Any specific supplements for women?

Jonny: Well, certainly fish oil again, because that’s something both sexes need. If someone is pregnant, I think that’s number one with a bullet, because the developing fetus again, the brain is 60% by weight fat and most of that fat is DHA. So again, this is vitally important. I think folic acid is particularly important. It’s important for men and for women. I’m not one of those people who think that there’s a vast difference in what men and women need. There are some things like iron that men just shouldn’t be taking, but folic acid, if you’re of pregnancy age or whether you’re intending to get pregnant or not of pregnancy age you should be taking folic acid absolutely every day. If you drink, you should be taking folic acid every day. So this is another supplement that just has wonderful benefits in a myriad of ways, but certainly any one of pregnancy age should be taking that.

Then beyond that I think calcium, magnesium. I think we been oversold about how much calcium we need to take. I think that’s a whole different discussion, but I don’t think we need nearly as much calcium as we’ve been told. What we need to do is stop eating things that remove calcium from our system and then we wouldn’t need to take so much of it.

I’m more concerned that people aren’t getting enough magnesium. I think vitamin D is going to be the unsung nutrient hero of this decade. We’re just now seeing how low the recommendation has been compared to the value that this vitamin has and how much of the vitamin D deficiency epidemic we have in this country and how vitally important that is for health on many different levels. It has anti-cancer activity.

I was just interviewing for my radio show yesterday, the author of the book called The Blue Zones, which is what he did for National Geographic Explorer and he found four areas in the world: Sardinia, Okinawa, a remote peninsula in Costa Rica and the Loma Linda area of California, where the Seventh-day Adventists live. He found these four areas in the world that they called the blue zones, where people live to be a hundred they live in fantastic health. They have energy. There are people that are over a hundred years old that are tilling the fields. These pockets of long-lived healthy existence and they went and he investigated to see with the people might have in common. All of them live in sunny climates. All of them were getting a lot of vitamin D. Now there are a lot of things that they have in common, as well; very high plant-based diets, for example, a lot of activity and a lot of connections to other people. All of that stuff, but one of the central things was the vitamin D connection. So I think that’s a vitamin that almost everyone can benefit from, from taking more. We don’t do nearly enough with that. We get this ridiculous low RDA of 400 IUs a day is waste. It’s laughably low. That would be another one that we could benefit by.

Kevin: Why did you say men shouldn’t be taking iron supplements?

Jonny: Because we have no way of getting rid of iron. Menstruating women have a monthly cycle in which they lose blood and therefore, can get rid of some of the iron that accumulates in their bodies. Iron is very toxic to the body when it accumulates. So if you’re menstruating you have a way of getting rid of it. If you’re not menstruating, if you’re a postmenopausal woman or a man you shouldn’t be taking iron, because it gets into the system and it absolutely can oxidize. It can be a component of — there’s just a lot of connections to heart disease and all kinds of other things. You don’t want accumulated iron in the body. So I would say that for any man, a multivitamin without iron and for any postmenopausal woman a multivitamin without iron.

There are many ways to avail cheap student airfares and the best option is to book the tickets in advance. This way you are able to get a discount on your airfare. You may also get cheap airfare, if you book the tickets during off-seasons.

However, it may be difficult for you to travel during off-seasons, as there are no vacations in colleges during off-seasons. It becomes difficult to get cheap student airfare during festive seasons too.

How to find?

Various online websites offer deals for student travel. If you are a student, all you need to do is fill in the registration details in an online form at one of the websites and you are able to use the facilities, which are readily available on these online websites.

Some of these websites may ask you to purchase an International Student Identity Card, while some may ask the e-mail address of your college or university. The email address is just for verification purpose to confirm your identity as a student.

Benefits:

International traveling rates have been reduced for students. If you are a student, then chances are high to get more discounts as compared to other travelers. Almost all the airlines readily give discounts to students, even if it is the peak season of traveling and the cancellation charges of such student tickets are comparatively lower than other air tickets. Airlines offer more flexibility for students to schedule their travel plans in comparison to other standard or frequent travelers.

If you wish to avail for student airfare, you need to carry out a small research. You have to search many airline websites and student websites that offer affordable student airfare tickets. This will help you in saving a good amount of money, when you buy tickets.

Things to Remember:

There are certain things that you need to be aware of while buying a student ticket. Cheap student airfare is a new type of service intended solely for students keeping in mind that they are generally low on funds. You may use this facility, if you want to go abroad for pursuing further studies.

At present, all leading airline services provide the facilities of student airfare. You just have to produce your identity card to buy the tickets at a cheaper price. As these airfares may or may not be lesser than the regular discounted airfares for regular travelers. Hence, you have to check the student airfares and make a comparison with the airfares for regular travelers.

Overview:

To avail the best cheap student airfare, you need to be flexible in your traveling schedule. Try to book tickets well in advance or on less traffic days. You may also opt for cheaper airlines, if you are able to compromise on the comfort level.

You may find information on flights and their airfares from a travel agent or through the Internet. All these tips may help you to save on your traveling expenditures and provide you with the best student airfare deals.

Find student credit cards and more of Tom’s work at FINDcollegecards.

So you’ve made the decision to install a home network and you’re roaring and ready to go with it. But have you done it before? Perhaps the dreams of not fighting over who can go online next, streamlining your office, and sharing files with other computers in your home has you a bit excited. But do you know what type of network is best for you? Do you know the basic principles to installing a network in your home? Do you know how to set up a wireless network? If you answered “no” to any of these questions, then perhaps you should read on.

Network types

First of all, a network allows you to have multiple computers connected to the same internet connection, share files between the computers in your home, print documents through a printer that is connected to a different computer, and share files that are stored on other computers. It seems like a dream come true, doesn’t it? But what is the best type of network for you? You have to make the decision of whether or not you want a wireless network or a wired network. If you choose wireless, you have to know how to set it up so that all of the computers can talk wirelessly to the network router. If not all of the computers are wireless capable, then you may have to move to a wired network. With a wired network you have to worry about running wire throughout your home or investing in upgrades for your computers to make them wireless.

You also have to know what type of activities you and your family are going to be doing on all of the computers. This is because you want to invest in a router that can handle the load. If the router cannot handle the load, then you’re going to have computers within your home getting booted off of the network.

Network installation

The network installation part can be either easy or complicated. It depends on how you look at it. You have to have an internet connection and you have to know your network type. You also have to know what computers in your home are wireless capable and which are not in case you choose to do the upgrades instead of installing wire throughout your home. If you’re setting up a wireless network, the easiest way to connect is if you have Windows Connect Technology through your Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2000, or Windows 98/ME. Then again, you could be running a different operating system, which can make setting up your network a bit more difficult than if you were running on a Windows operating system.

An alternative

Then again, you could probably save yourself a lot of headaches by hiring a professional to take care of the installation process. A professional will do an assessment to determine what type of equipment you need to give you a network that is complete. If any of your computers need what is called a network adapter to become wireless capable, the installer can help you with that. Once all of the equipment is determined and acquired, the network installer can then run wire or set up your wireless network for you. You’ll be connected in no time and the only thing you have to do is reach in your wallet. Fortunately, home network installation is not an expensive endeavor and it takes a lot off of your mind. You don’t want to buy all of the wrong equipment, hook it up, and then find nothing works. If you’re not sure, turn to a professional so that you know everything is right.

If you plan on creating a home network installation or a wireless home installation for your computer system, seek the professional, certified advice from EasyTechCare.

Ever since the Internet came of age in the mid 1990s, advertising deals have become extremely common. As we all know, companies advertise on the Internet through the usage of banners and through search engines such as Yahoo and Google in an effort to drive users to their websites. This article will analyze the key provisions usually found in Internet Advertising Agreements and will hopefully provide drafters of these agreements with guidance before they commence the difficult drafting process. For purposes of this article, the company purchasing the advertising shall be referred to as “purchaser” and the seller of the advertising shall be referred to as “advertiser.”

1. Definitions

The first paragraph of an Internet advertising agreement should set forth the definitions of the key terms that the agreement will refer to frequently. Since the agreement will likely use the term “click-through”, this term should be defined, and is usually described as a “user presence on the advertising purchaser’s website that originated through the advertiser’s promotional advertisements or promotions as part of this Agreement.”

2. Term

This paragraph should recite that the agreement will commence upon the effective date and shall last for a specified amount of time.

3. Positioning

This paragraph should clarify how the advertising banners will be positioned on the advertiser’s website. This provision may simply refer to a positioning schedule attached as an exhibit. On the other hand, if the parties decided not to agree on a specific positioning schedule, the agreement might simply recite that the advertiser has sole discretion to control the positioning so long as it uses its reasonable best efforts to position the banners in such a way as to drive traffic to the purchaser’s website. The drafter for the advertiser may also recite that the advertiser shall not be liable for any claims relating to usage statistics.

4. Click-throughs

Before a drafter of an advertising agreement can go to work, she must know whether her client will be paying per banner ad or per click-through. One “click-through” means that a user has clicked on the banner or the link to the purchaser’s website. If the agreement is for a certain amount of click-throughs per month, this provision of the agreement must clearly describe the commitments promised by the advertiser. Let’s say that the advertiser is promising 1,000 click-throughs per month. The agreement could thus read “Advertiser shall deliver no less than 1,000 click-throughs per month, and purchaser shall pay to advertiser the monthly amounts according to the payment schedule set forth in exhibit A.”

This “click-through” provision may also want to address what happens if the advertiser cannot make good on these click-through commitments. For instance, it may recite that “if advertiser misses any monthly target, advertiser shall “make good” the difference within two months. If advertiser does not make good the click-through difference within two months (60 days), purchaser may suspend that portion of its monthly payments that represent the percentage of click-throughs missed by advertiser until advertiser delivers such make goods.”

5. Exclusivity

If the deal points include an exclusivity provision, the agreement must reflect this intention. The agreement should be drafted to recite something to the effect of “no competitor of purchaser shall be permitted to place or purchase from advertiser, banner or promotional advertising as defined in Exhibit B, and advertiser agrees to use reasonable efforts to prevent third parties that are entitled to place ads on advertiser’s site from placing any banner or promotional ads of purchaser’s competitors.”

These are the most important provisions of an Internet Advertising Agreement. Other provisions covering Cancellation and Termination Limitation of Advertiser’s Liability, Indemnification, and Advertiser’s Right to Reject Advertising may also be included.
